Burnsville Public Library’s 3rd SRP, with Master Gardener Lena Mitchell and assistant T’kyra Young spoke about plants and instructed how to plant and care for the seeds each participant was given to plant in a container of soil. The participants enjoyed planting and watering their seeds and were also provided extra packages of seeds to take home and plant in their soil. It was both educational and FUN! Thanks to the presenters and also to the participants. Our next SRP here at Burnsville Public Library is scheduled for July 31 beginning at 12:30 and the subject theme is to be self affirmation, because sometimes we all need encouragement.
