Hoopla App Compatibility
As of August 27, 2019, Hoopla will only support the following app versions:
- iOS devices – All devices running iOS 11.4 and above
- Android devices – Most devices running Android 4.4 (Kit Kat) and above
- Amazon devices – All devices running Fire OS 5.0.0 and newer
Internet Explorer Compatibility
Starting April 25, 2018, Hoopla will no longer support the Internet Explorer browser. For patrons running Windows 8 or Windows 7, Hoopla will only be supported on Firefox or Chrome browsers.

Create a Hoopla Digital Account on Your Desktop/Laptop
- Go to hoopladigital.com.
- Select Sign Up
- Select Northeast Regional Library
- Follow the steps to register with your library card number.
- Enter email address and password to log in.
- Use the menu to browse content.

- Get the free Hoopla App from the app store/marketplace for your device.
- Select Sign Up
- Select Northeast Regional Library
- Follow the steps to register with your library card number.
- Enter email address and password to log in.
- Use the menu to browse content.
Return Materials Early
- Open the Hoopla App or go to hoopladigital.com.
- Go to My Titles >Borrowed.
- Select the title you want to return.
- Select Return Now.
