Celebrate National Library Week April 7 – 13, 2024

Baldwyn, Mississippi – Anne Spencer Cox Library is excited to invite all community members to the library during National Library Week, April 7 – 13 to explore all the library has to offer.

Most people know about the wealth of stories available at the library, from picture books and large print to audiobooks and ebooks. But there’s so much more to offer with this year’s theme, “Ready, Set, Read”. 

Libraries are welcoming spaces that bring communities together for entertainment, education, and connection through storytimes, children’s programs, lectures, and more. Anne Spencer Cox Library offers a wide array of programs and resources for the community to enjoy.

This year for National Library Week, Ann Spencer Cox Library will be giving out eclipse glasses and refreshments on April 08 for the solar eclipse.  There will be starter computer lessons for Seniors on April 11 from 12:00 – 4:00 and on April 12, the community is invited to come and share their Poetry with us, along with refreshments from 4:00 – 6:00.
