2017 SUMMER READING PROGRAM
Summer Library Program at Tishomingo Library
Hey kids – Our Summer Library Program will be kicking off in June with this year’s theme, “Build a Better World”. You are invited for a fun-packed hour of games, crafts, story time and special quests. Program is free to all children 12 and under. Our program dates will be held on Mondays in June – 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th beginning at 10 am.
Program List of Events:
June 5 – MDOT, Michelle Williams and Myrtle the Turtle, will talk about littering and how we can “Build a Better World” by keeping it clean.
June 12 – We will be “Touring the Town” at our local businesses. See how and why businesses help to “Build a Better World” in our community.
June 19 – It’s all about “Flower Power”! Why is it important? What’s so special about pollination? And why is it important to humans and animals? Find out when Debora Waz, Mississippi Museum of Natural Science, comes to visit.
June 26 – “Building one another up”! Families First for Mississippi, Eddie Begonia, will talk about the importance of treating others with kindness beginning with ourselves to “Build a Better World” with one another.
